If your dog 'will not' let you cut his nails, try using a dremel tool and grind them down. Strangely enough, most dogs will accept the dremel if you start off slow and easy, even if they're of the variety that insists you're killing them with a clipper. Dawn Garrett has written a very good, very detailed article...with pictures to guide you...on the right way to grind your dogs nails. Wonderful info for the people who need it. |

Stephen Huneck, the award winning author and illustrator of children's books featuring his dogs, has created a 'dog chapel' in his native Vermont. The pews, stained glass windows, all of the decorations are straight from his talented mind and hands. You're all invited to visit...with your dogs...and there is a standing invitation to send photos or email photos of dogs you want remembered to be put up on the walls of the chapel. A lovely idea. While you're on his website, check out his whimsical art. You might even want to invest in a piece or two. |
